Launch of Online Platform of Environmental Data on Valley Catchments

Parks Malta is conducting research into the hydrology, geology, and ecology of valley catchments, which will inform the creation of masterplans and selection of pilot projects in Malta and Gozo. Therefore, Parks Malta launched a geoportal related to valleys and water catchments. The data collected is presented in various interactive applications, and available for free download. Data categories include modeled stream networks and water catchments, fieldwork observations, and studies on ecosystem services.
