The official launch of the LIFE-IP RBMP-MALTA
12 Nov, 2020 | by RBMP Life | RBMP, Life, Energy and Water Agency,The RBMP Life Project was launched back in 2018 through the LIFE-IP RBMP-MALTA conference on "Optimising the implementation of the 2nd RBMP in the Malta River Basin District.
During the first phase of the project (2018-2019) several ‘Preparatory Actions’ were carried out, with the aim at addressing identified gaps in Malta’s water management framework as well as educational and awareness campaigns.
During the second phase (2020- 2021) many actions addressed to the general public will be launched, including the Household Water Consumption Audits, the Eco-label Scheme a Water App. At the same time, technical studies will be carried on, such as the implementation of demonstration actions on Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems and Valley Management Plans.
