EPISODE 6: GĦAJN - WATER DISTRIBUTION

The Energy and Water Agency, through the Water Be The Change campaign, is producing a series of programs about water management in Malta. 

The first distribution system in Malta were the aqueducts built during the time of Grandmaster Wignacourt. These carried water from the springs found in the vicinity of Rabat and Dingli to the harbour areas and the new city, Valletta.
