The Energy and Water Agency, through the Water Be The Change campaign, is producing a series of programmes about water management in Malta. 

Malta's history has always depended on how much water was available. From the times of the megalithic temple builders and the Misqa wells to our times, when we are transforming seawater into potable water; water has always played an important role in the historical, cultural and economic development of our islands. In this first programme from this series, we look at Malta's history from the perspective of how over time we have managed the scarcest and most valuable resource we have... water.
