Energy and Water Agency Hosts Successful Water Conservation Awareness Open Weekend at GHAJNEvent

In a remarkable display of commitment to water conservation, the Energy and Water Agency hosted last weekend September 23rd to 24th, 2023 a highly engaging event for the whole family, showcasing the various efforts and projects aimed at sustainable water management practices.

The OPEN WEEKEND was held at the National Water Conservation Awareness Centre - GHAJN.  The event ran from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, featuring interactive children's theatre shows, animations, games, and enlightening water conservation mini tours. The best part? Admissions were completely FREE.

It was a fantastic opportunity for the community to engage with water conservation efforts in an enjoyable and educational manner. 

The event was further enriched by the participation of leaders from the RBMP LIFE Malta project, who contributed by promoting Action C.5, the QATRA QATRA game, aiming to inspire families to download and embark on a journey to change their water usage behavior, promoting efficiency both at home and school. This initiative reflects a crucial step towards a more sustainable future.
